Ctrl + Shft + 5: Red is a video installation attesting to the infinite ways one can understand the color red. Paired with my own thoughts, feelings, and associations, the video explores an extensive definition of red found on the internet, alongside a compilation of digitally sourced screen recordings from Google, YouTube, social media platforms, and my own personal archive. The video uses red as a parameter to discuss how words or colors can be manipulated socially, politically, and commercially.
